Fuengirola is a large Spanish Town about twenty minutes from Malaga Airport and is
easily accessible by car, bus or train.
The town has 7 kilometres of sandy beaches with a tree lined promenade (flat for
easy walking) with magnificent views of the Mediterranean.
Fuengirola has grown significantly over the years from a small fishing village to
large cosmopolitan town. The majority of residents are Spanish nationals with a large
British and European expatriate community.
The town is host to many fiestas throughout the year including Semana Santa (Holy
Week) and Feria Week in October.
Fuengirola is an ideal location for touring Andalucia. Malaga, Mijas, Marbella, Cadiz,
Ronda, Cordoba, Seville, Granada, Gibraltar (passport required) and many more places
are well worth a visit.
Local transport is excellent so a car is not essential.
